Alice Longyu Gao is an independent artist who has written songs in Japanese, English, and Mandarin and is credited with pioneering the “hyperpop” genre. Known for her viral track “I <3 Harajuku,” she has been featured in The Fader, Billboard Pride, DAZED, i-D magazine and NME. (NME 100 artist this year) Alice has also performed DJ sets at culturally- forward events such as Murakami x Billie Eilish’s Garage Magazine Cover launch, the Parrish Art Museum’s Annual Gala, and two MoMA exhibition openings. As an artist, Alice reaches beyond a singular medium, redefining what it means to be a multi-hyphenate creator. Released debute EP “High Dragon and Universe” in 2021.
